MIM and Tuesday Trigger

HI!
It's been a beautiful weekend here in San Diego  so far and i am enjoying the cool breeze that comes from the ocean through my windows :) It's SO nice to feel that breeze since the last few days our weather has been a little coo coo! Can you believe it was 100 degrees a couple of days during the week!! Crazy I  know! and for those friends that have to deal with that kind of weather all the time...hats off to you :) I am a San Diegan and WE for the  most part have perfect weather :)
So since i am enjoying today i decided to play aloing a couple of challenges this week...
Over on the Papertrey Blog the Make it Monday Video is all about making backgrounds out of non-background stamps and over on the Moxie Fab Blog there is a gorgeous Tuesday Trigger photograph that has inspired me to create this card :)

I used a little flourish from Mat Stack 1 to create the backgound and added a small "hello" in the center from Ribbon Tails.
I also used some Marta Stewart Teardrop Inks that i had hidden away a while ago :) "A little sign and have way to much stuff" lol
Enjoy your day!

Papertrey August Blog Hop Challenge

Hello All!
Welcome to my blog!  i love the inspiration photo for this month PTI Blog Hop!
here it is...
what a beauty huh? the colors are so beautiful together and those flowers are adorable ! I can only imagine what it would be like to sit out and read a nice book and enjoy the day :) I work too much :(. Although today i did get a little time to play.
here is my creation...

sorry for the awful darkness in the photo...It was already late when i finished and i missed the light...
there's some sparkle in the green centers of the flowers, but because of the poor lighting you are unable to see it in the photograph...just imagine it :)

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back!

MIM #23 Pockets With Edger Dies

Hello! I hope that you are having a fabulous week :) My week has been great, the weather here in Sunny San Diego is perfect right now and  I am really enjoying sitting in the evenings by my window and feeling the cool summer breeze!
So this weeks PTI Make It Monday Challenge was to making pockets with edger dies. I am sad to say I do not own any edger dies YET! But  I will soon! That does not stop me from making a pretty card though! :) So  I improvised by using the Mat Stack 4 die.  So here is my card for this weeks challenge...

This is where i used the Mat Stack 4 Die to give my little pockets some personality :)

I added those cute little hemp twine handles to the cards inside the pockets to help reveal the cute message inside...

and here is the message all the way out...
Hope you like it !  I know My husband did :)

Ingredients:
Paper: SU! Crumb Cake , PTI White , Polka Dot patterned paper
Stamps: Wonderful Words Additions
Tools: Flower Fusion #4 Die , Mat Stack 4 Die, Heart Prints Die, Rickrack Border Die, Swiss Dot Embossing Folder,  EK Success Butterfly Punch, Corner Rounder

ColourQ Challenge #90

Hello Peeps!
I'm feeling mighty cheery today! My husband is busy designing, my daughter is away camping with some friends for the summer and that means that I get to play all day long! Yay me! Occasionally I get those days and I am so thankful for them. Making cards brings me so much joy :)
Don't get me wrong, my husband is a dream come true and my daughter....well what can I say...she is my princess :) and i love spending time with them....but sometimes mama needs a break *wink*

So today I will show you what I made while I got to play. I love the ColourQ Challenge Blog, there is so much room for imagination. The inspiration photos/colors are amazing and its so much fun getting to be creative and come up with my own representation :)
So here is the challenge photo
Here is my creation...
I cut these cute flowers from DCWV Fun in the Sun Summer Glitter Stack. Aren't these flowers so cute? I love the glitter! They give the right amount of sparkle :)
Well that's all for today :) I hope you are having a great day...got to run back to my craft table for more fun!

Mojo Monday 194

Hello!
Tis' the season for graduations!! and I used this Mojo Monday Sketch to help me build a card specially for that occasion,  and for my dear friends' son who is graduating from high school. It's hard for me to do masculine cards since I love flowers, bling and all things girly!...so this is close to masculine as i got...after all is was made by  me....a girl :)
