Give away!

Hello Stamping friends,

In the spirit of the Christmas Season I have two small things I would like to give to someone randomly :) I made some purchases during Black Friday not realizing that one of those purchases was something I already have- Chipped Sapphire distress ink. I also got my SC card kit in the mail and it came with one of their super cute Mini Exclusive Stamps Set. I just feel I wont give enough love, so I want to pass it along to someone who will!(I would really like to see what the winner will create with it!)

So if you would like to enter to "win" one of these  items please leave me a comment here. I will select 2 winners on and will announce the winners tomorrow by 1:00 pm (California Time).
** Please note since this is a gift and I'm paying for the shipping , I will only ship to US addresses.

**WINNER OF STAMPS SET: Congrats Charlene!**

**WINNER OF THE DISTRESS INK: Congrats Kathy Mc!**

**WINNERS: please email me at denissecherry @ with you addresses!
(please note that the spaces are not necessary, i just didn't want my email to get picked up by a spam robot :) )
thanks! and Good luck!

STAMPtember- Put a Stamp on It!

Hi there!
Today I created a card for the Simon Say Stamp STAMPtember festivities going on over on the Simon blog. You should really check it it if you haven't already, it is SO much fun and ofcourse there will be lots of prizes!

Here is my creation for the Put a Stamp on it challenge:

For this card I used some Simply Jane paper from PTI, stamped a damask border with Versamark ink and then heat embossed it. I then used some distress inks to add some color and a vintage feel. I distressed the edges of the frame, added a heart border and some rhinestones. I used the Simply You stamp set from PTI for the sentiment and I also created my own mini flag border. For the background I used a wood grain impression plate and mounted it to a white card base.

Simon Says Stamp- Put a Stamp on It!

Hello blog friends!
Today i'm participating along with the STAMPtember festivities going on over ta the Simon Says Stamp Blog. There is so much going on you should check it out. This particular Challenge was all about putting your stamp on!
I feel in love with stamping about 4 years ago and It has been my go to "relaxing hobby" since. I love love love all the ne product that Simon has been releasing , and you better believe I will be getting my hands on some of those goodies!
Enough is my creation for this challenge :)

For this card I used Tim Holtz crackle stamp for the vase,  then embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then used some Tim Holtz distress inks to "color in" the vase and add some dimension.  The flowers were stamped using some stampin up inks, then I added some glossy accents for some more fine detail. I love the simplicity of this cards.

Until next time!

PTI Anniversary Celebration Day 1

Hello :)
I am having so much fun creating cards than inspire us by favorite warms my heart :)
Here is another one I created using the amazingly talented Dawn McVey's inspiration card.
I used Iconic Images to create the background, (Dawn is amazing at this technique...i'm still practicing). I die cut a strip out of Kraft card stock with one of the Half & Half dies.
I used the Beautiful blooms die to create the center flower and added a button with jute twine to give it a pretty center :)
